Court rejects CCPO report on arrest of Khadija Shah.
LAHORE -- The Lahore High Court on Tuesday rejected a report by the capital city police officer (CCPO) regarding the arrest of fashion designer Khadija Shah in a third case of May 9 riots after bail in two cases.
Justice Ali Baqar Najafi directed the CCPO to submit the report afresh on Oct 27.
The judge was hearing a contempt of court petition by the fashion designer seeking action against the IGP and the CCPO for arresting her in the third case after bail in the cases of attacks on Jinnah House and Askari Tower.
The other day, the judge ordered CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana to file a detailed report.
