Couple, two sons among seven killed in two road accidents.

HYDERABAD -- A man and his two minor sons died when the motorcycle carrying them was hit by an upcoming heavy vehicle near Malang Hotel on Tando Mohammed Khan Road in the early hours of Thursday.

SHO Nasir Ali Shah of the Seri police station said that a factor worker, Abdul Jabbar Gadahi, 39, along with his wife, Jannat Gadahi, two sons, Jawaid, 6, and Sabir, 7, daughter, Fatima, and a close relative, Saira, wife of Khalid Gadahi, was on his way to Tando Mohammed Khan from his residence in Aliabad locality of Manghopir (Karachi). The police officer said that the couple and their Saira intended to visit a bereaved family to offer their condolence over death of one of its members.

Mr Gadahi's relative, Abdul Hameed, said all the victims were transported to the Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) where two boys, Jawaid and Sabir, were pronounced dead on arrival and their father, Jabbar Gadahi, also succumbed to his injuries during treatment a few hours later.

The other three injured victims were provided treatment and discharged, he added.
