Competitions held at AIOU on 'Kalam-e-Iqbal'.

Islamabad -- Competitions of speeches, songs and paintings on 'Kalam-e-Iqbal' among the students of local colleges and Universities were held here on Monday at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU).

It was part of the University's consistent efforts motivating the youth to seek guidance from Kalam-e-Iqbal for their positive and constructive role in the society.

The competitions were arranged by the Rawalpindi region on the occasion of 81st anniversary of the Great Muslim Poet and scholar.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum in his message on the occasion assured that the University will continue providing a platform to the students to hold discussion and debate on life and work of Dr. Iqbal and their other national heroes.
