Compensation for Gwadar fishermen.

GWADAR -- The BalochAisAtan government has provided compensation to the fishermen of Gwadar who faced losses when their fishing vessels were destroyed due to strong wind and high tide in the Arabian Sea last week.

The deputy commissioner of Gwadar, retired Captain Muhammad Waseem, distributed cheques among the affected fishermen.

According to the officials who carried out a survey for assessing the losses sustained by the fishermen, 37 fishing boats were destroyed and about 70 others damaged on the Gwadar coast due to the calamity.
