Committee on emerging technologies constituted to promote growth in IT Sector.

ISLAMABAD -- The government has constituted a Committee on emerging technologies to promote growth in IT sector with President Dr. Arif Alvi as its Chief Patron.

According to a notification issued by Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (Digital Pakistan), a Committee on emerging technologies is hereby constituted to promote growth in Information Technology Sector.

The composition and Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the committee are as follows:

President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi will be the Chief Patron of the Committee. Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddqui will be the Chairman of the Committee. Meanwhile Federal Secretary, Ministry of IT and Telecommunication will be the Member/Secretary of the Committee.
