Committee constituted for prevention of COVID-19 on Eid ul Azha: Zafar Mirza.

ISLAMABAD -- Dr Zafar Mirza, special assistant to Prime Minister (PM) has said committee has been constituted for prevention of COVID-19 on the eve of Eid ul Azha.

'we will soon evolve mechanism for Eid ul Azha. A committee has been constituted in NCOC in connection with Eid ul Azha. We are in contact with all stake holders including Ulema. The effects of smart lock down can not come soon. However corona cases have declined in the city where small lock down has been clamped. The government moves are designed for curbing coronavirus epidemic', he said this while talking to media men here Monday.

He held at least 30 SOPs have been made to prevent Corona virus from spreading. It takes time for the people to bring change in their attitudes.

He went on to say it is essential to know about Pakistani society in order to ascertain the causes leading to non -compliance of SOPs. People don't abide by laws in Pakistani society. Implementation on SOPs is also not ideal. But people are bringing about change in their attitude.
