Commissioner awards cash praises to outstanding sugarcane growers.

PESHAWAR -- Commissioner Bannu Division, Pervez Sabatkhel, Thursday, promotion of the agriculture sector would positively impact socio-economic conditions of farmers besides strengthening the provincial economy.

He expressed these views as a Chief Guest in a ceremony arranged by the agriculture department to distribute cash prizes among farmers and agriculturists of Bannu District.

The Commissioner highlighted the importance of agriculture and said it can lead the country to progress and development.

He said effective and result-oriented measures are needed to strengthen agriculture sector on proper foundations besides increasing the production ratio.
