COAS Qamar Bajwa expresses grief over demise of Allama Talib Jauhari.

RAWALPINDI -- Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed grief over the death of renowned religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhari.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, he prayed: 'May Allah Almighty bless the departed soul in eternal peace and give strength to the bereaved family, Aameen.'

Earlier, eminent religious scholar and theologian Allama Talib Johri was laid to rest in Karachi. His funeral prayers were offered at Amroha Ground which was attended by people from all walks of life.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and other important leaders expressed deep grief and sorrow over his sad demise.
