CM's appeal to residents of sealed areas.

LAHORE -- Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has appealed to the residents of the sealed areas to cooperate with administration and police for their own safety.

In a statement, he said citizens must realise their social responsibilities in the wake of the pandemic and asked shopkeepers not to allow visitors without face masks.

He maintained that self-description for the treatment of this virus could be injurious to health. Similarly, negative effects of steroids and anti-viral medicines could increase the intensity of the disease and it would be better to consult a certified medical practitioner in case of corona disease.

He said the Punjab government was ensuring the availability of medicines and strict action would be taken for hoarding oxygen, medical equipment and medicines required for the treatment of coronavirus patients.
