Class-IV job seekers await response to applications.

SHANGLA -- Over 10,000 candidates, who had applied for the 179 vacant posts of Class-IV in the health department some six months ago, have yet to get any intimation on their applications.

The applicants said they had applied for the Class-IV positions vacant in different health facilities across the district advertised by the health department some six months ago, but there was no development afterwards, thus causing worries to them.

When contacted, district health officer Dr Mohammad Riaz Khan Matta told Dawn that filling such positions fell in the domain of local MPAs.
