City marathon on 29th.
KARACHI -- The 4th Commissioner Karachi Marathon will be held on Jan 29 at Nishan-i-Pakistan Seaview.
Commissioner Mohammad Iqbal Memon on Monday reviewed the arrangements of the event at a meeting.
He said that peace and sports would be promoted in the city through the marathon.
According to the CommisAsioner's Office, two categories - 12 kilometres and 7.5km - have been set for the participants in which men and women of all ages can participate.
There are separate prizes for men and women, while there are overall prizes for men, women and veterans in different categories. Special children and families can also participate in the marathon in a special category.
