Citrus orchards needed proper irrigation water, fertilizers.

SARGODHA -- The Citrus Research Institute Sargodha (CRIS) experts advised Orange growers to proper irrigate their orchards, use pesticides and fertilizers according to demand of land and trees so that the best yield could be received in the next season.

The experts said that pruning process should also be adopted here at all orchards to remove dry branches of trees, adding that pesticides were also needed to avoid diseases attacks.

The CRIS was striving hard to provide assistance to growers for making their orange trees healthy and disease-free.

Flowers on trees should be protected accordingly to get good production in the upcoming citrus season...
