China, on reduction of Corona epidemic, is opening up its borders soon which will definitely help in boosting the economy and trade relations between the two nations. It was state by Mr. S. M. Naveed, President Pak-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) while addressing a meeting of the Executive Body today. Mr. Daud Ahmad, Senior Vice President, Mr. Khalid Raffique, Vice President and Mr. Salahuddin Hanif, Secretary General PCJCCI also expressed their views on this occasion.

President PCJCCI said that the epidemic is under control now and the vaccination is progressing steadily around the world. The covid-19 epidemic has blocked the whole world for more than one year, and it has badly affected the bilateral trade between the countries, he added.

He pointed out that the season of fresh fruits has just started producing precious lot of cherry, apricot and blueberries which are popular across the and can be exported abroad. He said that the traders and cultivators of the northern areas should be provided with training the training for modern ways of vexing, packaging and preserving the surplus fruits production for export purpose. It will help improve the lifestyle of local people by also creating more jobs.
