Children chained by stepmother sent to Edhi home.

KARACHI -- A local court on Wednesday sent four children to a shelter home, who were allegedly kept in chains by their stepmother.

Police claimed to have rescued the four children, ageing between four to years, chained by their stepmother in a house in a Gulberg locality on June 22.

On Wednesday, the investigating officer produced the children before a judicial magistrate (Central).

The IO informed that the children were rescued after the area residents informed the police that they had been bound with fetters for days allegedly by their stepmother.
