'Chambers should present recommendations for new industrial policy'.

FAISALABAD -- The chambers should present workable and viable recommendations for new industrial policy to discourage wastage of energy so that production cost could be brought down and surplus products could be exported in international markets. This was said by Muhammad Alamgir Chaudhry, the chief executive officer National Productivity Organization (NPO), on Saturday.

Addressing a function at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), the NPO was providing facility of energy audit and this wastage could be easily checked with this facility which was provided on 'no profit, no loss' basis. He said the Punjab government also funded a scheme for the lather, engineering, auto and surgical sectors.
