Chairman KC-EU expresses solidarity with people of IoK on upcoming Year.

BRUSSELS -- Chairman Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) Ali Raza Syed has said that India cannot suppress Kashmiris for a long time.

In a statement regarding New Year, he expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK). He said, though atrocities of Indian forces have been increased in the year 2019 as by revoking special status of Jammu and Kashmir, India imposed curfew in the occupied valley since August but sacrifices of the people of Kashmir would not go useless. He said, although the whole year was not different from the previous years but last five months were witnessed a huge brutalities committed by Indian occupation forces against the peaceful Kashmiris. Since India annulled special status of Jammu and Kashmir, siege of occupied Kashmir by the Indian forces is continued. A large number of people are under arrest and rest of the people are facing shortage of foods and medicines and as well as limited communications with rest of the world due to constant restrictions on them.

Chairman Kashmir Council EU said, in spite of this severe situation, Kashmiris got more spirit for their struggle during year and New Year would be year of hope for their peaceful movement.

However he said that these sacrifices give more power to the people of Kashmir towards their destiny of freedom and extremely encouraged the Kashmiri people to carry on their struggle in order achieve right self-determination and freedom from illegal Indian occupation...
