Chairman HSATI demands Sindh Government to establish agro-based industry and grain markets.

HYDERABAD -- The Chairman Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry Mazhar-ul-Haq Chaudhry has demanded Sindh Government to establish Agro-based industry and grain markets in order to utilize available stuff in right direction not only for promotion of agriculture sector but also the industrial zones of the province.

In a statement issued here on Monday, he said the agriculture sector is one of the key components of the economy of the country and the province and setting up agro-based industries cannot only be helpful for rapid industrial development but it will also help in resolving the issue of unemployment and increasing rate of influx from rural to urban localities. The agro-based industries could provide job opportunities to jobless persons at their doorstep, he added.

Similarly, he said that setting up grain markets in all districts of the province can discourage the middlemen mafia and provide opportunity to growers to gain maximum profits of their produces. It is...
