CEC appointment: Shehbaz writes letter to PM recommending new names.

LONDON/ISLAMABAD -- Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan recommending three names for the post of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President, in a letter to the premier, recommended the names of Sardar Nasir Mehmood Khosa, Akhlaq Ahmed Tarar and Irfan Qadir for the post of CEC.

Shehbaz Sharif said, "In my opinion, these prominent personalities are fit and deserving of this position".
