CDA resumes construction work on G8, G7 under pass.

ISLAMABAD -- After ease in lockdown announced by the government, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has resumed construction work on underpass connecting G-7 and G-8 at the Faisal Avenue.

The work was earlier stalled due to lockdown in the country for over a month due to coronavirus spread, but now the management had decided to start it anew with full vigour and capacity.

Talking to media, a senior official of the authority said in view of the concerns raised over spread of covid-19, it had been directed that Covid-19 prevention related SOPs may be observed in letter and spirit during the construction work.

Meanwhile, CDA started work on construction of overhead pedestrian bridge at Constitution Avenue few days back as well during smart lock down.
