CCPO visits Qaddafi Stadium, reviews security arrangement.

LAHORE -- Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar on Sunday visited Qaddafi Stadium to review the security and traffic arrangements made by the Lahore police for the forthcoming three matches of Pak-England International T-20 cricket series to be played in provincial metropolis from September 28.

DIG Operations Afzaal Ahmad Kausar, SSP Operations Capt (retd) Mustansar Feroze, SSP Security Sayed Aziz, SP Model Town, SP Traffic and administration of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were present. Earlier, Lahore police conducted full dress rehearsal for the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) made to ensure security of the coming event and teams.

The CCPO, accompanied by DIG Operations and other senior police officers visited airport, residential places, route and checked security arrangements during the rehearsal.

During his visit at Qaddafi Stadium, senior police officers briefed the CCPO regarding the security and traffic arrangements. The CCPO inspected the security arrangements at various sections of the stadium including entrance and exit points. He issued directions to police officers...
