CBS, NAB hold a seminar on corruption free society at SALU.

KHAIRPUR -- A one-day seminar on 'Social and Religious Responsibilities of Youth in Establishing Corruption Free Society' was organized by the Character Building Society (CBS), Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur in collaboration with Awareness and Prevention Wing, National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sukkur. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided over the seminar. Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Abbasi, Deputy Director, Awareness and Prevention Wing NAB, Sukkur was the chief guest. Addressing on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said NAB is striving hard day and night to promote the sense of transparency. Dr. Ibupoto said that the corruption has damaged the economic fabric of the nation. Dr. Ibupoto said we have to promote moral values, simplicity and honesty. He applauded the initiative of NAB for the establishment of Character Building Societies in the academic institutions. The Vice Chancellor commended the efforts of incumbent Director General NAB, Sukkur along with his team is committed to eradicate the menace of corruption. Dr. Ibupoto also appreciated the Faculty Members and Students who delivered their speeches on the theme. Fayaz Ahmed Abbasi said that 60% of our population consists on youth, so youth has to take part in the development of honest practices and disseminate the soft message of Islamic values and the message of our Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) for the best practices based on Shariah.
