Cash and carry.

I RECENTLY visited a cash and carry situated near Safari Park, Karachi, on Dec 7 at about 2.30pm. I was at their vegetable and fruit section near the weighing scale, which is situated near their storeroom.

Much to my surprise and dismay, oranges which were being punched from the scale, were about Rs20 costlier than their display. The person manning the scale told me in a strange, foreign accent that some of the prices in that scale are not updated and I may go to the other scale.
