British Council director education delivers lecture at UVAS.

LAHORE -- British Council Pakistan Director Education Dr Nishat Riaz visited the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore on Friday and delivered a lecture on the topic of "British Council's current programmes and initiatives for improvement in higher education in Pakistan".

Dean Faculty of Biosciences Prof Dr Habib-ur-Rehman, Dean Faulty of Life Sciences Business Management Prof. Dr Muhammad Azam, Principal Officer Students Affairs Prof Dr Kamran Ashraf and a large number of faculty members and postgraduate students were also present.

Dr Nishat Riaz said that UVAS students must be proud of studying in the historic institution of the country, which was playing a lead role in research on food production, food safety, food security, and development of the livestock sector.
