Briefing Session by Embassy of United States.

The Embassy of the United States (US) to Pakistan hosted the participants of the International Young Diplomats School (IYDS) in Islamabad. An interactive session with the partici pants on the topic of the relationship between Pakistan and the US was organized by the Embassy. The US and Pakistan have enjoyed 75 years of partnership in many sectors, including people-to-people ties and health sector cooperation. The two have strong diplomatic ties. During the session for IYDS, representa tives of the US Embassy gave a lecture about the US Department of Foreign Services. The US continues to be Pakistan's top export market and has been one of the greatest sources of foreign direct investment in Pakistan. The government of the US supports this relationship by setting up business-to-business trade delegations, offering technical assistance, and promoting business opportunities for American companies to create US-Paki stan commercial partnerships.
