Briefing Session at Embassy of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin welcomed the participants of the International Young Diplomats School at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Islamabad. A briefing session was held on the topic of the relationship between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. Pakistan and Kazakh stan have friendly ties built on a shared perspective on global concerns, as well as understanding and goodwill towards one another. According to Ambassador Yerzhan Kistafin, relations between the two countries are excellent and have the potential to go to new levels of collabora tion. Kazakhstan is willing to join the multi-billion project of CPEC. He claimed that investments by Kazakhastan in Pakistan are also being discussed. Due to its sizable population and appeal to international investors, he claimed Pakistan is a very promising market. He listed three pillars to this effect: strengthening direct linkages between the two nations' universities, encourag ing direct ties between think tanks, and fostering information-sharing between the two nations' mass media.
