Bridegroom injured as gun goes off.

SAHIWAL -- A bridegroom was critically injured while fixing a rifle at his wedding at village Bhawani Noor Shah.

The marriage ceremony of Dr Nisar Saghla, a medical officer at the Sahiwal Medical College, was happening in the village. Many of his friends and family members started firing into the air to celebrate the marriage. A bullet got stuck in the rifle and Dr. Saghla tried to fix it when the weapon went off, leaving him injured. Dr Saghla was immediately shifted to the Sahiwal Teaching Hospital where he had a surgery. His condition is out of danger.
