BoG considers new curriculum for DPS.

SARGODHA -- The Board of Governors of the Divisional Public School and College, Sargodha, has proposed changes in curriculum for 2023-24 session.

A BoG meeting held here under the chairmanship of Commissioner Maryam Khan proposed introduction of Oxford books for pre-school, Oxford and Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board books from Grade 1 to 7 and Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board books from Grade 8 to 10.

The meeting further approved joint training sessions to be conducted by expert teachers of the Ali Institute and the Dipalpur DPS for capacity-building of teachers. It said the final approval of changes in syllabus would be given in the light of the opinions of the master trainers.

Commissioner Maryam Khan said the DPS was trying to ensure quality education within the reach of all.

'It is our responsibility to provide a conducive environment for learning, availability of all basic materials and qualified teachers.'
