'Body cameras to improve performance of Swat police'.

SWAT -- District Police Officer Shafiullah Gandapur said here on Monday that provision of modern body cameras would improve the performance of police in Swat.

Chairing a meeting in his office, he thanked Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Gandapur for providing modern body cameras to Swat police. He briefed the participants of the meeting about the use of cameras.

'I am proud of Swat police as they do their service in professional way. Though they are equipped with modern technology, the availability of body camera will further improve their performance while dealing with civilians inside the police stations,' he said. He added that the behaviour of policemen would be monitored through the camera.
