Blazing Arrow to start as favourite for Stewards Cup.

KARACHI -- With a win under her belt, thoroughbred chestnut filly Blazing Arrow is expected to oppose the challenge from rivals while capturing the StewaArds Cup in the Gymkhana race meeting here at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

She is expected to get tough time from chestnut colt King's Ransom and chestnut horse Violent Romeo in the seven-furlong contest which is a handicap race for three-year-old and above Pakistani horses. However, if on job, colt Fantastico and bay horse Churchill can bring an element of surprise in a tricky field of 13 horses.

Eight debutant horses will vie for honours in the Youngster Cup - a term race for two-years-old thoroughbred and half-bred colts and fillies - in the fifth race which will go over four-and-a-half furlongs.

Two cup races feature prominently in a healthy six-race card that has been drawn for the day.
