BISP extending health, education facilities to poor families: Marri.

ISLAMABAD -- The government-owned social safety net, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), provides health facilities and scholarships to thousands of children from poor families through Benazir Nashonuma and Benazir Taleemi Wazaif programmes.

Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety and BISP Chairperson Shazia Marri, in her message on the occasion of International Children's Day, said the Benazir Income Support Programme helped thousands of poor people by providing scholarships to deserving families for their children's education and health.
