Bisham transporters abandon new bus stand after dispute.

SHANGLA -- Transporters in Bisham left the newly-built general bus stand on Saturday and shifted their vehicles to the old private bus stand after a dispute with cab drivers.

A week ago they had shifted their buses, coaches, cars and coasters to the tehsil municipal administration's new general bus stand. On Saturday, after a quarrel between the contractor and cab owners, all buses and other vehicles were taken back to the old bus stand near the city's main bazaar.

Passengers also faced severe difficulties due to shifting of the bus stand due to the dispute among the TMA, contractors and cab drivers. Amanullah Khan, contractor of the general bus stand, said that cab services, including Afridi rent-a-car, Nadeem rent-a-car and Kohistan van service, were not willing to shift to the TMA's general bus stand and had also filed a case in the court.
