KARACHI -- Former national champion Mohammad Bilal overcame Hong Kong's Fung Kwok Wai in a fully-stretched battle to join his other compatriots in the last-32 round of the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) World Snooker Championship at Yangon on Friday.

According to information received here, Bilal, despite losing two preceding league matches qualified for the knockouts (last-48) round, whipped Wai 27-64, 66-32, 63-41, 97-24, 17-64, 2-66, 72-16 to advance.
