Bilal Friends, Mansoora Sports win Prof Ejaz Faruqi Invitation Cricket.

KARACHI -- Bilal Friends and Mansoora Sports seal victories as two matches were decided in the Prof. Ejaz Faruqi Invitation Cricket Tournament played at the Landhi Gymkhana and TMC Ground with the Permission of PCB and Organized by Rising Star Cricket Club.

In the first game Bilal Friends beat Bright Gymkhana by Eight Wickets, said a statement.

Bright Gymkhana batting first Scored 283 runs in allotted 45 overs.

Haider Ali Scored brilliant 95 with the help of 13 boundaries and 2 huge Sixes, while Zain Anwer Scored 46 runs and Sharafat Ali 27.Muhammad Talha took 3 for 46 and Osama Butt 2 for 42.

Bilal Friends then reached their target 282-2 in 35.3 overs. Osama Butt hit brilliant unbeaten Century scored 140 runs with the help of 18 fours while Afroz Hasan scored unbeaten 107 runs with 14 fours and one six. Zain Anwar and Zarar Shah took one wicket each.

In other match at TMC Ground Mansoora Sports defeated Orangi Star Cricket Club by Eight Wickets. Saad Ansari was the top Scorer from Orangi side with a 95 from 88 balls (14 boundaries) in a total of 241-9 in 45 overs. Muhammad Akif and Arham Kashif took three wickets each.
