ONE finds it difficult to come to grips with the two regretful incidents that occurred recently. The lawyers attacking and destroying the chamber of IHC chief justice and a rich influential couple getting an out-of-turn Covid-19 jab by using undesirable means.

Both incidents happened because those involved in numerous similar incidents that happened earlier went unpunished. The state and its institutions - judiciary, police, bar councils, et al. - preferred to look the other way.
