Better rainfalls: Punjab, Sindh to get additional water for Rabi crop season.

ISLAMABAD -- Indus River System Authority (IRSA) has decided to give additional 0.89 Million Acre Feet (MAF) and 0.67 MAF water to Punjab and Sindh respectively for the ongoing Rabi crop season due to improved river inflows caused by better rainfalls.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the authority held a meeting the other day to review the water situation in the Indus Basin System.
