Basit Ali is unhappy with Pakistan's squad against Bangladesh.

Former Test cricketer, Basit Ali is unhappy with Pakistan's T20I squad against Bangladesh for the upcoming three matches series in Lahore.

Basit took to twitter to share his feedback on the selected bunch for the home series. He wrote: 'Pakistan team has been announced and friendships won. Well done Misbah.'

On Thursday, Pakistan team head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq announced a 15-men squad for the upcoming shorter format series. Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Fakhar Zaman, Imam Ali, Haris Sohail were the notable omission from the squad whereas three uncapped players Ahsan Ali, Haris Rauf and Amad Butt are found their places in the team for the first time.

Experienced Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez have also made a comeback in the national side.

It's not about Ahmed, Umar, every performer will get a chance: Misbah

Lahore: Pakistan Head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq has clarified that not just Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad will get a chance but every performer in the domestic cricket will be inducted in the squad whenever needed.

'It's not about only Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal or any other specific player, every player who performs will get a chance. We are trying to check every player from our pool. We can't induct everyone collectively in the side,' he said.

'See, Ahsan Ali, Shoaib Malik, and Mohammad Hafeez are included in the side on a performance basis,' he added.
