Bara police foil child abduction bid, arrest six.

KHYBER -- The Bara police on Saturday foiled a bid to abduct a girl child and arrested six members of an organised gang of kidnappers.

SHO Bara police station Shamshad Khan told reporters that some local residents in Speen Qabar area had alerted the police about a kidnapping attempt by a group of six kidnappers, which included four women.

He said that a police party initially arrested two abductors and recovered a five-year-old girl from them. He said that later they also tracked down the rest of their gang members during a search operation conducted in the surrounding localities.
