Banking hours.

THIS is apropos the letters 'Banking hours' (May 1 and May 5). The writers' complaints of rush at the counters are justified.

Recently, I reached the Clifton branch of a large private bank at 9.50am where about 15 people were already standing in line. I was also made to stand in line without consideration for the fact that I am over 75 years old. At about 10.05am the security guard allowed 10 persons to go inside the branch. For about half an hour not a single customer came out of the branch.
