Ban on Kashmir highway anti-people move: Mirwaiz forum.

ISLAMABAD -- The Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) has denounced the prevention of hundreds of vehicles including trucks laden with fruits and vegetables from plying on Srinagar-Jammu highway on the pretext of movement of Indian forces' convoys.

A spokesman for the forum in a statement issued in Srinagar said, 'This move has resulted in huge loss to traders and shortage of essentials in the valley.'

He said it is an anti-people measure aimed at making the people of Kashmir struggle and begging even for items of daily need. 'Such a move will choke the economy of Kashmir and trigger crisis in the valley,' he added.
