Baloch Cultural Day celebrated in Jacobabad.

JACOBABAD -- A cultural event to celebrate of Baloch Cultural Day for promotion of peace and pluralism was held in Jacobabad by Community Development Foundation CDF at Sartiyan Sang Women Community Centre. A large number of women and girls from Muslim, Hindu and other faith and culture participated in the event. Local school students performed on Balocuh cultural songs. Addressing the gathering Deputy Director Women's Development Department Khalida Soomro said that women are key to peace and culture is a driving force. Apa Khair Un Nisa DD Education Jacobabad said that we can change the society by promotion of education. These kind of event are non-formal education and source of awareness it needs to increase in the society where extremism is on the rise.
