Bacha Khan Week celebrations begin.

PESHAWAR -- Awami National Party on Friday launched activities to mark the 35th anniversary of Bacha Khan (Abdul Ghaffar Khan) and the 17th anniversary of Khan Abdul Wali Khan.

ANP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president Aimal Wali Khan inaugurated the celebrations. On this occasion, members of the central and provincial cabinets, and a large number of workers were also present.

Before the ceremony, Khatam-ul-Quran and prayers were offered at the Bacha Khan Centre. Aimal Wali Khan, central committee member Syed Masoom Shah Bacha and others were present.

Various stalls, including books, clothes, traditional products and food items were set up at the event. New books published by Bacha Khan Research Centre were also launched on the occasion.
