LAHORE -- Punjab Chief Secretary Jawad Rafique Malik has said that on the direction of the Prime Minister, the provincial government is continuing a crackdown on profiteers to ensure the availability of essential commodities at fixed rates. He said, 465 profiteers/hoarders were arrested and 451 FIRs lodged against them during the current month. The price control magistrates also imposed fines of more than Rs 20 million on the violators.
