ARCs now at Qanoongo level.

GUJRAT -- As the establishment of 115 Arazi Record Centres (ARCs) at the Qanoongoi level is under way across the province, 35 of them will become functional during the current month.

A spokesman for the Punjab Land Record Authrity (PLRA) told Dawn that currently 152 tehsil level ARCs were functional where consumers were availing services like Fard Milkiat (ownership document), mutation of the properties.

He said keeping in view public problems, the PLRA had, two years back, decided to build the facility at the Qanoongoi level. 'Now 35 ARCs will be operational by the third week of this month and rest by May.'
