Anti-typhoid drive extended for two days.

RAWALPINDI -- Executive Officer (CEO) Health Dr Faiza Kanwal said on Monday that the two-week long anti-typhoid campaign, which began in 123 Union Councils of the district on February 1 has been extended for two more days.

She said the aim was to reach thousands of children who remained unattended or their parents refused administering typhoid injection during the campaign that was to conclude on Monday (Feb 15).

She told reporter, the campaign would now continue till February 17 as the department wanted to cover maximum number of children in the ongoing special campaign.
