ANP demands lockdown for two weeks.

PESHAWAR -- The Awami National Party has demanded complete lockdown for two weeks to contain local transmission of Covid-19 which has recorded a major jump during the last few weeks.

'The prevailing situation demands a curfew-like lockdown across the country,' said ANP central general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussain, according to a statement issued here on Friday.

He insisted that Prime Minister Imran Khan was completely unaware of the situation.
