ANP complains of irregularities in voter registration.

TIMERGARA -- Awami National Party, Lower Dir general secretary Malik Mohammad Zeb on Friday complained that about 5,000 voters belonging to Khall area had been registered in Upper Dir district.

Talking to journalists, he said Khall tehsil was included in Lower Dir some 15 years ago.

He said the residents of Khall had been casting their votes in the Lower Dir constituencies for years, but now about 5,000 voters from Khall had been registered in Upper Dir. He demanded of the chief election commissioner and the district administration to take notice of the matter.

PEOPLE'S SACRIFICES PRAISED: Dir Task Force Commandant Colonel Mujtaba Haidar on Friday said restoration of peace in the district was due to sacrifices of local people and the security forces.
