AGP reveals Rs2.96tr irregularities in Power Division.

ISLAMABAD -- The Auditor General of Pakistan (AGP) has revealed irregularities of Rs2,962 billion in 318 cases of Power Division and its attached departments.

In the audit report for the fiscal year 2019-20, the AGP has recommended recovery of Rs2,604 billion in 50 cases. In addition, the auditor general has also pointed out the loss of Rs4,033.45 million due to fraud, embezzlement, misappropriation and theft in 21 cases.
