Accountability court adjourns fake accounts case hearing till May 21.

ISLAMABAD -- An accountability court in Islamabad on Thursday adjourned the hearing of the fake accounts case against Pakistan People's Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur till May 21.

As the hearing resumed, Judge Arshad Malik remarked that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has failed to provide the copies of reference to the suspects.

'How will they even run the trial if the copies of reference are not being given to them,' the judge remarked.

Further, Zardari was also set to appear before NAB earlier in the day, however, his summons was postponed upon his request.

As per media reports, the monetary watchdog has prepared another reference against the former president and summoned him in the Rawalpindi office for questioning.
