Abid Ali confident for first-ever Test series in England.

LAHORE -- Opener Abid Ali is looking forward to continuing strong performances in his first-ever Test series in England.

While talking to reporters via teleconference on Tuesday, the Test cricketer expressed hopes for a successful England tour. 'It will be a tough tour for both the teams following the current situation. COVID-19 is there but I think we need to move forward and have some cricket now,' said the only Pakistani batter to score back-to-back centuries in the first two Tests.

'If I get a chance in Tests, it will be my first series of the longer version of the game. I had a good run back in Pakistan and I will try to take confidence from those performances,' the cricketer added.
