Aaron Summers to become first Australian to play Pakistan Cup.

Lahore -- The 24-years-old Aaron Summers will be the first Australian cricketer to Pakistan Cup, scheduled to start from January 8 in Karachi.

Summers has been signed by Southern Punjab (SP) for the whole season following Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s domestic competition rule - one foreign player per side as long as the foreign player submits a Non-Objective Certificate from his home board.

The young pacer will arrive in Pakistan on December 28 and will train at National High-Performance Centre (NHPC) under the supervision of former Test cricketer Azhar Mahmood. He will join his squad on January 5 in Karachi.

It must be noted here that Summers represented Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 following his pace and performance during the Big Bash League where he represented Hobart Hurricanes and proved himself as one of the fastest bowlers on the Australian circuit.
